the children will come together in the Disciple Depot.
From there they will begin a journey to J. C. Cinema,

Each Sunday in a 4 to 5 week rotation, leaders will
present the same lesson in a different style that is
age appropriate. The lesson may by learned through
art, drama, song, crafts, interactive computer
lessons, cooking, reading, drawing and other active
ways. This will help build familiarity, as well as
allow children to experiences the lesson in a format
they can learn and understand best. Teaching the
lesson over a 4 to 5 week period assures that children
who may not be able to attend on a regular basis are
still exposed to Bible stories that form the basis of
our Christian faith. |
 |
Creation Carousel
This is our art workshop where students can be
creative in their response and interpretation of the
story. The art activity is the lesson. In here
art is emphasized over craft. Sometimes Creation
Carousel becomes a science workshop where experiments
help teach the lesson. |
 |
Thessalonians Theater
Through drama and puppetry, students experience the
emotion of characters, and the story sequence details.
Often the students create the drama. You sometimes see
music or movement done in this workshop. |
 |
J. C. Cinema
In this workshop students learn by watching quality
presentations and discussing them. The learning
focuses on story sequence and details, historical
settings or geological setting. In this workshop we
sometimes do TV reporting where students will go out
into the congregation to get others ideas, opinions
and experience. |
 |
Goliath Skill and Games
Through a variety of games and activities, students
learn the who, what, and where of a story. |
 |
Bible Bytes
With the assistance of a computer students learn the
geographical and historical setting and story sequence
and details. You may also find students journaling in
this workshop. |
 |
Esther’s Eatery
Students prepare and experience food from Bible times.
Or food is used as a canvas to teach the lesson. |
